Two youths on a corner
smoking marijuana,
got into a fight
someone died that night.

Stop the violence!!

Young children with guns and knives
selling drugs to make it in life,
failing to realize that their actions
will not bring them satisfaction.

Stop the violence!!

Stealing cars and robbing stores
making easy money is the life they prefer,
never having to work
ending up six feet under dirt.

Stop the violence!!

Fathers molesting daughters
robbing them of their innocence,
now things will never be the same
have to hang their heads in shame.

Stop the violence!!

We need to work together,
to heal our community
we cannot do it alone, together we can…………..
